Earlier this week, Conley Kriegler began his election campaign for Senior Ring at Walter Murray Collegiate Institute and has asked me to help him on his journey.

Election speeches were given Thursday, May 24th and shortly after, the candidates were allowed to start campaigning. There are four other male candidates for the Senior Ring position, as well as three female candidates running for the Senior Pin position.

Conley Kriegler Conley is very involved in school activities and has gained valuable experience which has given him a sound knowledge-base to draw on when making decisions on the following year’s events. He is involved in many sports; showing his athletic ability by playing school golf, volleyball, football, badminton, track and running cross-country. He has had the opportunity to meet and speak to many athletes through these sports and has many ideas on how to improve student athletic experiences.

Conley has also helped with school organized charity events and spirit days and is also a part of the Animal Rights Club. Fund-raising and promotions experience is a large part of the Senior Ring role.

Conley has also been involved with dances, setting up and attending. This is another big part of the SRC’s responsibility, so working with the current SRC and building on those experiences will make future dances unforgettable.

With hard work and dedication, Walter Murray Collegiate Institute can look forward to some of the best SRC organized athletic events and musical programs, charity events, spirit days, and unforgettable dances.
