For the second blogging assignment we were asked to make a new banner design for Miss Teenage Canada.
I chose to recreate the logo that the pageant has, but kept it similar.
I changed the logo slightly by switching fonts and making it all pink, adding a pink maple leaf again to show the support for our country!
I chose to add the silhouettes of the crown and girl because they both represent parts of the pageant and what it involves, like wearing a crown.
My special touch to the silhouette of the girl is adding the text “your face here,” to show that any girl can be the next Miss Teenage Canada!
Last but not least, I knew I wanted to incorporate the motto of the pageant, “be your own kind of beautiful,” because the motto was the catalyst for me signing up for the pageant in the first place. It’s important to show that the pageant is all about building confidence and about letting girls be their own beautiful selves!
This assignment was difficult, and I had a few setbacks, but I am happy with the end result, and I hope you all like it, too!
Until next time,
